Eken Hössna is part of Humana and is beautifully located about 7 km outside Ulricehamn. We specialize in the care of particularly demanding individuals with dual diagnoses, such as neuropsychiatric disabilities, psychotic disorders, and severe mental illness with or without substance abuse issues.

Here, we work in a home-like environment where our clients live in their own apartments. We believe in the power of a meaningful everyday life and therefore offer unique opportunities for employment through our gym, carpentry, and training kitchen.

As a treatment assistant with us, you are the hub of the client's daily life. You work to enhance functionality and strengthen the self with the goal that the client will eventually be able to manage their own housing.

Your main tasks:

• Contact person role: You are responsible for driving and following up individual implementation plans.

• Treatment work: We work based on MI (Motivational Interviewing), ESL (An Independent Life), and LAB (Low-Arousal Approach).

• ADL support: You support clients in their daily living and social functions.

• Activities: You actively participate in and motivate for employment, from carpentry and gardening to physical training and more.

• Collaboration: You maintain close dialogue with nurses, occupational therapists, and external parties to ensure the highest quality of care.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has a genuine understanding of the target group. You have the ability to remain calm in challenging situations and always focus on the individual's strengths and resources.

Qualifications:

• Educated treatment assistant, nursing assistant, social pedagogue, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

• Experience in psychiatric care work and/or substance abuse issues.

• Knowledge of or interest in MI, ESL, and low-arousal approach.

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (for documentation according to SoL).

• A valid driver's license is required as we are an outreach service.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with particularly demanding individuals in outpatient or inpatient care.

• Working hours: Full-time

• Working times: Scheduled working hours (day, evening, weekend). The operation is staffed around the clock.
